I just love these glasses! Probably because I have never seen anything like them, with the intricately decorated gold and teal rims. Also, they were made in France, and I am a bit of a Francophile. I have no idea how old they are, but the wear on the gold rims on some of the glasses show that they have been used. I have shown the flaws in the glasses in the pictures, but you really don't notice them when you look at them as a collection. The champagne glasses are in better condition. I can see them being used for sherbet or ice cream as well. Look at how small the bowls of wine glasses used to be! These can be your anti-hangover glasses, or they would work as cordial glasses instead.
Anyway, they are reasonably priced, and would be fun to use at your next festive dinner!
(One of the champagne glasses has what appears to be a little paint in two places. I could probably get it off, but it is the same teal color as the decorative rims. Could it be a production flaw? I thought it added to the charm of the set, so I left it alone.)
